Jews used to live in Hebron until they were massacred by Arabs. We are now back

by Yitzhak Frankenthal  23.06.2013 We must not lose our present and future to the past. Yes, atrocities have been committed in Hebron, and not only there. Yes, the Palestinians have murdered our children, but is it incumbent upon us to revenge their death and perpetuate the hostility, or should we instead strive to reconcile our peoples and prevent further bloodshed? The Jewish settlements in Kiryat Arba and Hebron must be moved, because they are planted in the midst of a population of 140,000 Palestinians. Moreover, Jewish presence in Hebron is the constant cause of vile acts on both sides – yes, on our side too – see the case of mass-murderer Baruch Goldstein.
