Backed by an Arab coalition,The Egyptian crossed the Suetz Canal while the Syrians attacked the Golan Hights. Despite of its millatary disadvantage, Israel succeded to counterattack on both fronts,  and even gain further ground in tis progression into Egypt, an advance that was only stopped with outside interfernce.
